Syner-KINASE® (urokinase)Syner-KINASE® is a thrombolytic (clot buster) licensed for the treatment of occluded; central venous catheters, pulmonary embolism, deep vein thrombosis and peripheral vascular occlusion. The product is currently available in the following strengths: 10k, 25k and 100k. 
Citra-Lock™ (trisodium citrate)Citra-Lock™ is an anticoagulant catheter lock solution which is effective in preventing infection and biofilm formation. The product is available in three strengths 46.7%, 30% and 4%. The 4% solution can be used if there is concern about using heparin as a catheter lock. The product is now available in a luer lock vial to help reduce the risk of needle stick injuries.
“NEW” Hyacyst® (sodium hyaluronate)Hyacyst® solution 40mg/50mls, is a bladder instillation treatment for Interstitial Cystitis and Painful Bladder Syndrome. Hyacyst® provides a temporary replacement of the GAG (Glycosaminoglycan) layer of the bladder lining. Loss or damage of the GAG layer is one of the causes of Interstitial Cystitis and Painful Bladder Syndrome. Syner-Med VeraTemp™+ Thermometer“Temperature taking redefined”. A non–contact infrared thermometer, which is highly accurate (±0.2oC), with a reading at the click of a button and a memory of the previous 32 readings. The thermometer not only reads body temperature but surface and room temperature. A major significant technology improvement is that probe covers are not required, reducing the risk of cross infection and affording the NHS a significant cost saving.
